Hey Y'all, My name is Calissa, but everyone knows me as “Work From Home Diva” born in Marylard & raised in Philly and South Jersey. I've been working from home full time for over 20 years now. I started on this journey back in 2005… after finally realizing that following the path that society has laid out, would never allow me to obtain the kind of success and wealth that I always envisioned myself getting.
I was working a lot, burnt out, in debt, and living paycheck to paycheck. I was trying to provide a better life for my 6 then, now 7 children. I didn't even have enough time for myself and my family. I went through stuggling financially, going through mental, emotional, and physical abuse in my previous relationship over 10 years ago. Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve always wanted to become my own boss. The main reason was because I use to literally watch my dad work hard day in and day out and build a business out of nothing.
So I had 2 choices to make. I could have let my kids watch me give up on life and keep struggling. Or Keep Grinding each and every day to accomplish my goals and get out of my situation…..
So what do you think I did?
Yep. I kept Grinding!
Sometimes you have to fail and fall hard in order to succeed.
I've joined tons of different programs and trainings online. I failed miserably in these opportunities.
You Not A Boss Until You Take A Loss.
Although I lost a lot of money, I gained even more knowledge about this home business industry and the path that I was about to take to financial freedom.
Now....
I found myself eventually getting involved in an travel business and getting trained by an amazing trainer name Dani Johnson and the rest is history. Now I can work from home, set my own hours, and have true time and financial freedom. That business has helped me create a career in Networking Marketing, Direct Sales, and Eccomerce (CC Diva Designs).
I now specialize in helping people change their lives by having multiple streams of income that they can do from anywhere.
I try to tell people that there are no secrets, there is no overnight success, and persistence is the key and you must apply it to your mind and realize that it CAN HAPPEN for you, it’s just going to take time.
This has been a 20 year journey!!!! And trust me when I tell you if you have the determination and dedication, with some persistence, YOU TOO CAN GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE.
I would have traded those 20 years to be where I am now, than have to work 40+ years to MAYBE retire at an age to still do fun stuff and with maybe a little bit of money……PERIOD.
